A tip a day to keep the doctor away
While doctors are trained to dig us out of the worst case scenarios, it is our responsibility as individuals to care for ourselves on a daily basis. As an avid reader and consumer of health news, studies, and info, it is my pleasure to share with you, in basic language, the most interesting and relevant information that I come across, to help you stay healthy, happy, and med-free.
You may already know me as the Dessert Darling, someone so passionate about sweets that I dedicated myself to trying every dessert possible! While I still believe that “If you’re going to eat desserts, do it right and eat the best,” I wonder how often I really should be eating and promoting desserts in the first place, given the frightening landscape of burgeoning diabetes. After some eye-opening research, my outlook on food has undergone a metamorphosis. I hope to bring you on my journey to a healthier life style as I shed light on some alarming data on what’s happened to our “food” and our nation at large (yea, pun intended).
